RESIDENTS IN FUERTEVENTURA
For people with Parkinson and their family members, residents in Fuerteventura, the association offers group meetings, laboratories, individual meetings, couple meetings.
Meetings and laboratories are mainly held in outdoor places, immersed in the naturalness of beaches and volcanoes respecting the environment and fully enjoying its benefits.
Depending on the specific needs of the person, the group or activity itself, meetings can also be held in a study or at the domicile of the person who benefits.
Thanks to the support of the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo of Fuerteventura Department of Transport and Accessibility, the La Caixa Foundation, the Town Council of Pajara and Antigua, the Association organises group activities for psychophysical well-being, socialisation and inclusion. Specifically the projects are:
For whom?
FOR EVERYONE!
It is recognised that each person is unique and that their needs and wishes may vary, so a variety of options have been created to cater for a wide range of interests and needs.
All activities are personalised, tailored and inclusive. They will take place in small groups in different municipalities of Fuerteventura.
Registration is compulsory and an interview with the psychomotor therapist is foreseen, in order to personalise the activities as much as possible.
Who will conduct the meetings?
All the professionals involved are specialised in their disciplines and are part of our transdisciplinary team with a holistic approach. Professionalism, many years of experience, passion for their profession, love for Fuerteventura and its enchanting nature, and deep humanity and empathy are some of the characteristics of our counsellors.
Teamwork allows the participants in the activities to live different experiences, all of them linked by a personalised project for each participant, a project common to the whole group, always supporting the health potential of each person regardless of their physical, emotional and psychological state.
All the activities are and will be adapted to the participant, to their possible tiredness, needs and potential, so that they can have a positive and satisfactory experience.
The project is coordinated and supervised by:
