Boxing, Dance, Psychomotricity, Surfing, Sup, Sports Boating and Swimming for Everyone!
“Boxing, Dance, Psychomotricity, Surfing, Sup, Sports Boating and Swimming for Everyone!”
is a project we created to support people with Parkinson’s and other pathologies, helping them improve their quality of life, their psychophysical well-being and their health potential. At the same time, we support family members, who will be able to participate in the activities and know that, if they are not present, their loved one is living an important experience.
The sports activities proposed in this project have a therapeutic, preventive, educational and inclusive value. Furthermore, they are part of our method and are supervised by the psychomotor therapist, the neurologist and the clinical psychotherapist who coordinate the entire transdisciplinary team of professionals of the Association.
The activities began in September 2023 and will end at the end of August 2024.
Among the activities:
- Psychomotricity
- Dance
- Adapted boxing
- Adapted surfing and Sup
- Swimming
- Boat
All the activities, carried out in groups in different municipalities of Fuerteventura (La Oliva, Puerto del Rosario, Antigua, Pajara, Morro Jable), are personalized, adapted and inclusive.
This project has been carried out in collaboration with the Government of the Canary Islands, Department of Education, Vocational Training, Physical Activity and Sport, General Directorate of Physical Activity and Sport, with subsidies aimed at carrying out sports promotion programs among groups of people with functional diversity.
