EDUCATION, TRAINING AND PARTICIPATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS IN PARKINSON’S DISEASE NO LIMITS

The project “EDUCATION, TRAINING AND YOUTH AND ADULT PARTICIPATION IN PARKINSON NO LIMITS” was born with the mission to promote an inclusive and transformative educational environment, aimed at young people and adults in the community, through a series of talks and training activities, both theoretical and practical, focused on essential issues for the integral development of the participants.

Our project, supported by the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, Department of Education and Youth, is designed to address and promote fundamental values such as identity, integration, inclusion, empathy, socialisation, respect for others and the environment, as well as communication and intergenerational and intercultural dialogue.

These issues are crucial for the formation of individuals who are aware of and committed to their environment, capable of having a positive impact on the community.

Numerous people took part in the project and the association can now count on a growing number of volunteers to help those who need it most.

If we join forces, step by step, we really can create a more empathetic and inclusive society.
