MOVING TOGETHER IN LIFE!
Mark this date in your calendar: SATURDAY 7th SEPTEMBER from 9.30 to 15.00 in Puerto del Rosario, Centro Insular de Juventud, Cabildo de Fuerteventura.
A training and participation day open to all on the theme: physical-sports activities for the elderly and people with functional diversity.
The Association’s local and international experience and numerous research studies show that physical activity and sport have a positive influence on people’s quality of life and health potential.
This training day, beyond underlining and summarising this scientific evidence, aims to be a space for dialogue, exchange, educational and constructive confrontation in which people with functional diversity and older people are the real protagonists, supported by the professionals who accompany them in their daily physical and sporting practices, having the opportunity to testify and tell their experience.
When training is a dynamic, concrete and empathetic process, it is training of great value! “Through learning we regenerate ourselves. Through learning we become able to do something we have never been able to do before. Through learning we re-perceive the world and our relationship to it. Through learning we expand our capacity to create and to be part of the generative process of life” Peter Senge (Lebanese writer and philosopher).
At the end of the talk and the round tables, some good practices of adapted sport will be proposed in the square in front of the Insular Youth Centre, led by the professionals who participated in the first part of the day.

- Dr. Nicola Modugno, neurologist expert in sport and neurological pathologies of movement;
