Dance, Create, Live!
Two online meetings took place on April 28 and 29, entitled: Dance, Create, Live! conceived and conducted by Francesca De Bartolomeis. The idea of uniting people from South America and Spain, to create a network of communication, exchange, in which to share experiences, information and training, thanks to which, one does not feel alone or isolated, and this is the basis on which founds the “Ibero-American Parkinson Alliance”.
The Fuerte Es La Vida Parkinson No Limits association has been operating worldwide since 2019, building a network similar to that of Alianza, but with a global character.
This basic typology on which they both base part of their mission, unites them and has led to this partnership and these two first encounters.
Francesca De Bartolomeis, psychomotorist specialist specializing in Parkinson’s, has made available her professional and personal experience, as daughter of a young man with Parkinson’s, inspiring participants to find, support and stimulate their psychophysical balance through music, art and the dance.
The language chosen for the meetings was Spanish, but that was not the only language used.
Body language, colors, music, facial expressions, the intensity of the voices, emotions were the main form of communication. People from Italy, Romania and Hungary also participated.
During each meeting, Francesca de Bartolomeis made amusing proposals that involved the PERSON as a whole, not only as a person who has Parkinson’s or as a Care Partner, but as a PERSON and FAMILY.
Exciting, creative and fun proposals that intensely stimulated the neuroplasticity and health potential of each one.
