MOVING TOGETHER IN LIFE!

Mark your calendar: SATURDAY 7 SEPTEMBER from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm in Puerto del Rosario, Centro Insular de Juventud, Cabildo de Fuerteventura.
A day of training and participation open to all on the theme: physical-sports activities for the elderly and people with functional diversity.
The experience gained by the Association at local and international level and the numerous research studies show that physical activity and sport positively affect people’s quality of life and their health potential.
This training day, beyond underlining and summarizing this scientific evidence, wants to be a space for dialogue, exchange, educational and constructive confrontation in which people with functional diversity and the elderly are the real protagonists, supported by the professionals who accompany them in their daily physical and sporting practices, having the opportunity to testify and tell their experience.
When training is a dynamic, concrete and empathetic process, it is a training of great value! «Through learning we regenerate. Through learning we become able to do something we have never been able to do. Through learning we perceive the world and our relationship with it again. Through learning we extend our ability to create and be part of the generative process of life» Peter Senge (Lebanese writer and philosopher).
At the end of the conference and the round tables, some good practices of deporte adaptado will be proposed in the square in front of the Centro Insulare de Juventud, conducted by the professionals who took part in the first part of the day.
