From February 22nd to 24th, 2020, we will be present at the Copenhagen International Brain Congress, organized by Elisabeth Ildal, with the extraordinary participation of Alex Kerten. The event will take place in Copenhagen (Denmark), at the Danish Parliament, Christiansborg.

The participants are:
ELISABETH ILDAL is a lawyer and global Parkinson’s ambassador, blogger at the World Parkinson Congress 2019 in Kyoto, DJ for Radio Parkinson DK, founder of Cure4Parkinson DK, member of the European YOPD Onset group and Critical Voice at CCP, EPDA, Parkinson’s Eve – Team Captain Blue Team, Unite, Parkinson’s activist and international Parkinson’s table tennis coach.
ALEX KERTEN is a specialist in behavioral physiology, martial arts practitioner, writer and music enthusiast. He has many years of experience in movement, respiratory and postural disorders. He developed the Gyro-Kinetic method, through which he has treated many people with Parkinson’s. A combination of martial arts, structured movement and music are key elements of his approach. Author of several books on Parkinson’s, translated into multiple languages, including “Goodbye Parkinson’s, Hello Life!”.
MATT EAGLES will be present with ParkyLife. He is a global advocate for people living with Parkinson’s and co-founder and Director of ParkyLife, a global initiative officially launched in Japan at the World Parkinson Congress in Kyoto 2019. A positivity activist, he focuses on the mental wellbeing of people with Parkinson’s and their families. Matt is a renowned speaker, mentor and moderator. He was the first “patient” to chair EyeForPharma in London and Barcelona.
FRANCESCA DE BARTOLOMEIS is a psychomotor specialist for adults and elderly people, trained at the school of Professor Cecilia Morosini, with a thesis dedicated to the holistic treatment of Parkinson’s, inspired by her father, who lived with Parkinson’s. She is an expert in theatre, dance, body reading techniques, basal stimulation, active body mediation techniques and Ayurvedic massage.
She co-founded the cultural association Namasté (Italy) as coordinator of consultants, event organizer and public relations manager. As a psychomotor facilitator, she co-led groups for people with Parkinson’s and their families together with a biodance expert. With Namasté, she attended the World Parkinson Congress (WPC) in Portland in 2016, presenting an original vision for the future.
In 2019, she represented the consultants of the association Fuerte es la Vida Parkinson No Limits, of which she is spokesperson. The association offers, among other initiatives, wellness holidays in Fuerteventura (Canary Islands) for people living with Parkinson’s and their families.
ANDY BUTLER is the founder of the independent platform “Parkinson’s People”, with over 52,000 followers on Facebook, ambassador of Cure4Parkinson and global Parkinson’s advocate. He participates in conferences, seminars, groups and associations worldwide to raise awareness of the patient perspective. He collaborates with Web Radio Parkyes.
Parkinson’s People is a partner of the World Parkinson Congress, and Andy Butler has participated in the Leadership Forum at the last two World Parkinson Congress events (Portland and Kyoto).
MIRKO LORENZ is the founder of Keep Moving and its training method. He is a teacher of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, meditation techniques, martial arts and self-awareness practices. In recent years, he has worked with people with movement disorders and Parkinson’s. He collaborates with the Parkinson Clinic in Beelitz-Heilstätten.
He studied and practiced Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation at a martial arts academy in China and attended the World Parkinson Congress in Kyoto in 2019.
CHARLOTTE MARIA is the founder of PD Kinetics, a sports science teacher and member of the Advanced Research and Applied Sciences team in London. Her personal experience supporting her mother with Parkinson’s, combined with her professional expertise, has enabled her to develop programs specifically designed to manage the wide range of Parkinson’s symptoms.
RIKKE JAKOBSEN is an entrepreneur with 25 years of political experience and an expert in Nutrition and Health. He is co-founder of the Danish Medical Cannabis Association (2014), working to create conditions that allow all people in need to benefit from medical cannabis.
