Medical Doctor (MD) specializing in Neurology (graduate thesis: “Study of sequential upper limb movement in Parkinson’s disease,” awarded 110/110 with honors, later published in “Movement Disorders”).

Specialization and PhD in the Department of Neurology at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Prof. Alfredo Berardelli) and the Human Balance and Movement Unit at HMBU, Prof. J. C. Rothwell, Queen Square, London. Specialization thesis (70/70 with honors): “Study of the short-term effects of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) on the excitability of the human motor cortex,” the subject of three subsequent publications in Clinical Neurophysiology and Experimental Brain Research.

President of the Italian association Parkin-Zone and member of the board of directors of Limpe.

His passion for the sea and nature, combined with his experience in rehabilitation activities for people with Parkinson’s disease conducted in nature, makes him a neurologist who knows how to develop his profession by empathizing with people and supporting them in activities that stimulate their own health potential.

Creator of Sail4Parkinson, a recreational and rehabilitation activity for people with Parkinson’s and many other projects in Italy, he begins his collaboration with Parkinson No Limits on the occasion of a European project started here in Fuerteventura that has two pioneering and innovative activities in the approach to Parkinson’s: surfing (created by our association, Fuerte es la Vida Parkinson No Limits) and Sail (created by Nicola Modugno and the ParkinZone association).
