Parkinson No Limit

“Boxing, Dance, Psychomotricity, Surf, SUP, Sports Boat and Swimming for Everyone!”

is a project we have created to support people with Parkinson’s and other conditions, helping them improve their quality of life, their psychophysical well-being, and their health potential. At the same time, we support family members, who can take part in the activities and know that, even when they are not present, their loved one is experiencing something meaningful.

The sports activities proposed in this project have therapeutic, preventive, educational, and inclusive value. In addition, they are part of our method and are supervised by the psychomotricist, neurologist, and clinical psychotherapist who coordinate the Association’s transdisciplinary team of professionals.

The project began in September 2023 and is still ongoing.

Activities include:
  • Psychomotricity
  • Dance
  • Adapted boxing
  • Adapted surf and SUP
  • Swimming
  • Boat activities

All activities, carried out in groups across different municipalities of Fuerteventura (La Oliva, Puerto del Rosario, Antigua, Pájara, Tuineje, Morro Jable), are personalized, adapted, and inclusive.

This project is carried out in collaboration with the Government of the Canary Islands – Department of Education, Vocational Training, Physical Activity and Sports, General Directorate of Physical Activity and Sport, through grants aimed at promoting sports among people with functional diversity.

Some of the activities carried out were part of an awareness program on Sport and Parkinson launched by the European Parkinson’s Federation, in collaboration with us and other European associations.

This campaign was launched in preparation for the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Currently, the project is part of the awareness campaign launched in 2024 on Sport and Inclusion. This is a campaign we created and promote, launched on social media at an international level, and which we will present in May 2026 at the next World Parkinson Congress in Phoenix, Arizona.
