
A cycle of meetings for all people who live with a family member with a pathology and/or functional diversity and who want and feel the need to:
- have some time for themselves;
- a space and time where they feel welcomed and not judged;
- a moment of empathetic and sensitive listening and sharing;
- time to relax and recharge;
- time to ask questions to others in similar situations and to professionals
Francesca De Bartolomeis, psychomotricist and daughter of a person with Parkinson’s, Silvia Della Morte, psychotherapist and wife of a person with Parkinson’s, and Veronica Avossa, art therapist, will welcome you into this experience with professionalism, real-life experience and sensitivity.
The neurologist Nicola Modugno will attend some of these meetings to share his professional and human experience and answer your questions.
During the meetings, topics and needs emerging from the group will be addressed, ensuring a highly personalized approach.
In general, there will be both online and in-person meetings:
- meditation and relaxation sessions;
- specific exercises to meet the group’s needs:
- reduce stress
- recognize and manage emotions (anxiety, anger, fear, love…)
- improve communication
- learning simple, practical and effective techniques to face daily life and its challenges;
- sharing moments;
- Q&A sessions with the psychomotricist, psychotherapist and neurologist.
Who is it for?
People of any age who live alongside a family member with:
- Parkinson’s disease
- multiple sclerosis
- chronic and/or degenerative neurological diseases
- physical, cognitive and/or psychiatric functional impairments
- genetic conditions
- dependency situations

Therapists:
Francesca De Bartolomeis, psychomotricist and expert in Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions, creator of the Parkinson No Limits Method. Movement, dance, music, art and bioenergetics are some of the tools she uses.
Silvia Della Morte, psychotherapist specialized in clinical psychotherapy, using body-based and artistic mediation techniques.
Veronica Avossa, artist and art therapist who uses photography as a tool for wellbeing and self-awareness.
Nicola Modugno, neurologist specialized in movement disorders, rehabilitation therapies and integrative approaches, known for his professional yet empathetic and human approach.
