Parkinson No Limit

In 2023, we launched this project, which views psychomotricity, creativity, art, and cognitive stimulation as powerful tools to support a person’s health potential.

A project supported from the beginning by the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Department of Equality, Social Policies and Human Resources, initially designed in 4-month cycles, and which, since January 2025, we have been carrying out continuously, once a week.

Francesca De Bartolomeis, a psychomotricist expert in creative techniques with body mediation (such as dance, bioenergetics, music, painting in the ocean), and the artist Dori Alessio, creator of the Itrazos Method, will offer participants a well-being and therapeutic laboratory.

Through creativity, drawing, dance, movement, music, and creative cooking, brain neuroplasticity will be stimulated, thanks to which the following benefits will be achieved:

  • promotes and supports socialization;
  • stimulates cognitive and motor aspects: memory, graphic representation, spatial-temporal orientation,  executive skills, mathematical skills, attention, hand coordination, fine motor skills, vision, precision of movement, writing
  • helps control and reduce anxiety states, performance anxiety, and stress
  • improves personal autonomy
  • enhances and helps discover latent, impaired or new abilities that will support daily life, fostering self-affirmation, self-determination, and psychophysical autonomy
  •   increases self-confidence
