Specialized physiotherapist

Emma earned a degree in physiotherapy to help people with Parkinson’s disease, after her grandfather was diagnosed with the condition at a young age. She graduated from the University of Brighton in 2015. Her thesis focused on the effects of exercise on people with neurological disorders. Since graduating, she has worked continuously with people with Parkinson’s, both in hospital settings for severe cases and in private practice and community care settings.

Emma has worked as a physiotherapist at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, Ireland’s national center for neurology and neurosurgery, with extensive experience in advanced respiratory care and rehabilitation of patients in the hospital’s neurological intensive care unit.
