day, the VIII Affective Effective Awards Forum ceremony took place in Madrid, organized by the pharmaceutical company Janssen (Johnson &amp; Johnson) in collaboration with C\u00e1tedras en Red.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe AE Model (Affective Effective Model) is a way of caring for and treating the patient as a person, based on scientific evidence, incorporating the dimension of dignity and humanity, establishing care based on trust and empathy, and contributing to their wellbeing and the best possible health outcomes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Affective Effective Awards Forum was created as a space for meeting and exchange, with the aim of promoting and continuously improving the AE Model.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe competition promoted by the AE Awards Forum recognizes new patient-centered initiatives and helps raise awareness of the work carried out by healthcare professionals across different fields, work that does not always receive the visibility it deserves despite its high quality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dolores Navarro, President of the AE Awards Forum Jury.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The awarded projects represent \u201ca transformation of healthcare that must be human, innovative and sustainable, capable of successfully addressing global challenges, including the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, promoting a balance between social, economic and environmental sustainability.\u201d Luis D\u00edaz-Rubio, General Manager of Janssen Iberia.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, 652 projects carried out in Spain in 2021 were submitted for selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of these, 410 were accepted for evaluation by the jury, led by Dolores Navarro, Director of Patient Participation and Empowerment, an expert in maternal and child public health, planning, evaluation, participation and patient rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-el-foro-premios-afectivo-efectivo-nos-ha-seleccionado-como-finalistas-en-la-categor-a-iniciativas-de-sensibilizaci-n-y-o-prevenci-n-y-o-intervenci-n-realizadas-por-asociaciones-de-pacientes-y-ong-del-sector-salud-otorg-ndonos-un-importante-reconocimiento-tanto-a-nivel-nacional-como-internacional-por-el-trabajo-que-realizamos-en-2021-y-en-particular-por-el-proyecto-presentado-viva-la-vida\">The Affective Effective Awards Forum selected us as finalists in the category \u201cAwareness, prevention and\/or intervention initiatives carried out by patient associations and NGOs in the healthcare sector\u201d, granting us significant recognition both nationally and internationally for the work carried out in 2021, particularly for the project presented: Viva la Vida.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>110 projects were included in this category, and the jury selected three finalists:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Spanish Cystic Fibrosis Federation<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spanish Association Against Cancer<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fuerte es la Vida Parkinson No Limits Association<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/parkinsonnolimits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/premio-mejor-iniciativa.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-490\" https:\/\/parkinsonnolimits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/premio-mejor-iniciativa-768x512.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>CATEGORY 1<br>Award for \u201cBest Awareness, Prevention and\/or Intervention Initiative\u201d developed by patient associations and NGOs in the healthcare sector<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our project, carried out within our therapeutic and wellness holiday program in Fuerteventura, was designed so that people with Parkinson\u2019s and their families from all over the world could experience not just a holiday, but a holistic experience immersed in nature, in total and genuine synergy with it, together with me and wonderful colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our team offers a wide range of therapeutic, complementary and wellness activities, based on a holistic and transdisciplinary approach, supervised by a psychomotricist and a neurologist, according to the Parkinson No Limits Method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">People with Parkinson\u2019s and their families are the true protagonists: supporting and enhancing their health potential and quality of life is the foundation of our mission.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The awarded project, Viva la Vida, was carried out in 2021 and included families from: Norway, Germany, Spain, Italy, Georgia, Florida and Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Psychomotricist Francesca De Bartolomeis, coordinator of the Association\u2019s consultants, led all the proposed activities, sharing every experience with the participants and supporting their involvement not only from a motor perspective, but also emotionally and psychologically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically, all activities within the Viva la Vida project shared the same therapeutic setting: the Ocean of Fuerteventura and its inhabitants (fish, cetaceans, seagulls and other birds).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this unique and extraordinary therapeutic environment, participants experienced three innovative complementary therapies introduced by us in the Parkinson\u2019s field: <a href=\"https:\/\/parkinsonnolimits.com\/actividades\/terapia-de-arte-en-agua\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Art Therapy in Water<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/parkinsonnolimits.com\/actividades\/surf-ocio-terapeutico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Surf<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/parkinsonnolimits.com\/actividades\/oceans-emotions-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ocean\u2019s Emotions Experience<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest THANK YOU goes to those who got involved and created their Wave of Change with us, including Cathy, Peter, Morten, Rune, Rick, Alejandro, Anat, Adass, Gitte, Alex, Daniella\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">And a special thanks to the man who gave life to our association, the Parkinson No Limits Method and all our projects:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Romolo De Bartolomeis<\/strong>, a great man who, through his immense simplicity\u2014built on love and respect for Family, Nature and Life\u2014took ownership of his life and, despite Parkinson\u2019s, and in part thanks to it, made it shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, this radiant light continues to guide us in the daily implementation of everything we lived and learned alongside him, so we can share it with others and, hand in hand, face this wonderful journey that is Life itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Long live life,
